Because there was no water at their school, these students had to draw water from a local stream and carry it back to the school to use. They spent their time collecting water instead of studying. When asked what their dream was, on their own initiative they drew a water system. An organization saw this need and found funds and manpower to drill for water. It also organized local workers and volunteers to help with the installation of the pipes for the new water system. The school principal told the neighboring village that they are welcome to get water from the school system as well, if needed. The students’ dream was fulfilled – and now they can spend their time studying instead of getting water.
