How many children actually want to do homework? School children in Zimbabwe love to go to school and they want to do their homework, but most do not have access to paper and must write their school lessons in the dirt. OneLife distributed notebooks to school children in this school allowing them to do their work on paper instead of in the dirt. When the notebooks were given to the children they celebrated with singing and dancing. A school headmaster reported that in one school without paper, only 8% of the children were passing the national tests. One year after receiving notebooks (paper), 56% passed the national test.
